Norivault Mobile Privacy Notice

1. Scope and privacy at a glance

Meritwright LLC, a Texas limited liability company, provides this notice for Norivault Mobile. It covers the Android edition pending release through Google Play and the edition for iPhone and iPad in development for the Apple App Store. Norivault Mobile is a separate product from the Norivault desktop editions, which have their own privacy notice.

The Android edition is in Google Play certification and pending release. The edition for iPhone and iPad remains in development for the Apple App Store. Neither edition is publicly available yet. This notice describes the current Android data-handling design and does not mean an edition is already available. Meritwright will review the notice and the applicable store disclosures before each commercial release.

The Android edition and the edition for iPhone and iPad are planned for approximately the same release window. Exact availability may differ because Google and Apple review and publish independently.

The corporate Privacy Policy covers Meritwright.com and company email. This product-specific notice controls when it addresses Norivault Mobile directly.

2. Information you choose to enter

The Android edition processes information you choose to enter, such as service history, dates, conditions, symptoms, notes, planning inputs, checklist responses, and reports you create. This information may include sensitive personal, military, medical, or benefits-related information.

Adding personal information is optional. Information entered in the app is not uploaded to Meritwright or VA during ordinary app use. The current mobile app does not import, upload, transmit, or store evidence files. Only add information you are entitled to use, including information about another person.

The app also keeps local preferences and operating information needed to remember settings, protect access, and resume your work. On devices where a supported strong biometric is available, Norivault requires biometric verification after the vault passphrase when unlocking the vault. The vault passphrase remains required. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or broad storage permission. The Android app itself does not request internet permission. When you choose an external link, Android opens it separately in your browser, which may use network access under that browser’s policies. The final store listing will identify the permissions for the released edition.

3. How local processing works

Norivault Mobile is designed to organize user-selected information, support local research and planning, and create outputs you request on the device. Information is readable within the app while you use the features that need it.

Meritwright does not automatically receive your records through ordinary app use. Norivault Mobile does not send automated usage analytics, crash reports, or record scans to Meritwright. Meritwright does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

No separate Meritwright activation account or license server is required for a storefront purchase. Your Apple or Google account is separate from information kept within Norivault Mobile and is used for the applicable store's services.

4. What may leave the device

• Items you export or share. A report, document, screenshot, or other item leaves the app's control when you choose to open, save, print, or share it through another service or with another person.
• Storage or backup services you choose. Saving an export or backup to a cloud-synced location or third-party service can cause that provider to process or copy it under its policies. Meritwright does not provide or control that storage.
• External links. When you open an official source, support link, or other external page, your browser contacts that destination. The destination may receive your IP address and browser information under its own policy.
• Store and device services. Apple, Google, the operating system, security software, or another service you use independently may process account, connection, device, or diagnostic information under its settings and policies.
• Support messages. Meritwright receives the information you deliberately include when you contact support. This is separate from automatic access to information in the app.

Store installation, restoration, ownership checks, and updates may require Apple or Google to exchange store-account, device, and connection information. Norivault Mobile does not send your records, medical information, passphrase, reports, backups, or workspace content through store licensing.

Visiting this notice or another Meritwright.com page uses the website services described in the corporate Privacy Policy. Those services are not built-in analytics for Norivault Mobile.

5. Exports, backups, and recovery

Norivault Mobile lets you create passphrase-protected encrypted backups and user-selected exports. You choose the item and destination. Protect exported files separately because ordinary exports are no longer controlled by the app. A cloud provider, shared folder, recipient, or other application may retain a copy under its own rules.

Meritwright does not keep a recovery copy of your local records or passphrase. Norivault Mobile does not use Android system backup to retain your workspace. Reinstalling the app through a store restores the app, not information that was kept only on the prior device. Record recovery depends on a compatible encrypted backup you created and retained.

6. Retention and deletion

Information kept by Norivault Mobile remains on the device until you delete it, erase the app's local data, or it is removed by the device or application profile. Use the app's deletion controls when available and do not rely on uninstalling alone, because retention after removal can depend on the operating system and choices made during uninstall or restoration.

Deleting local information does not delete original source files, earlier backups, exports, screenshots, printed copies, or copies held by another service or recipient. Remove those separately. Deletion is not a guarantee of forensic erasure from a device, system backup, or previously created copy.

Local deletion does not erase store purchase records or support correspondence. Apple, Google, and Meritwright manage those records under their respective policies.

7. App stores and payment handling

Google Play will manage the Android purchase after release, and the Apple App Store will manage the planned iPhone and iPad purchase. Norivault Mobile is planned as a one-time purchase per platform with no subscription. Ownership, installation, restoration, refunds, account use, compatible-device availability, and updates follow the purchasing store's policies.

Store account and transaction information remains separate from records kept within the app. Meritwright does not collect payment on this website or receive your full payment-card details through Norivault Mobile.

Apple and Google independently process store account, payment, transaction, device, and licensing information. Store-provided sales or app-performance reporting does not include the personal records you keep in Norivault Mobile. See Google's Privacy Policy and Apple App Store privacy information.

Initial availability is planned through U.S. storefronts. Store-region eligibility is not continuous location tracking by Norivault Mobile. The app does not use precise location or IP-location checks to enforce store-region availability.

8. Support and privacy requests

For product help, email support@meritwright.com with the operating-system version, store used, and a description of the issue. Do not send app records, backups, passphrases, medical or service records, government identifiers, store passwords, or payment-card details. Remove sensitive information from screenshots before sending them.

If you contact Meritwright, we receive your email address and the information in your message. Microsoft 365 provides company email. We use correspondence to respond, troubleshoot, address security concerns, and meet applicable legal obligations. We retain it only as reasonably needed for those purposes. The corporate Privacy Policy provides additional details.

Send privacy requests to privacy@meritwright.com. Applicable rights depend on your circumstances and the law. Meritwright can address information it holds, but cannot remotely access, correct, or delete local app information it does not possess.

9. Security and intended use

Local processing and device protections reduce risk but cannot guarantee protection from every theft, loss, malware infection, device compromise, or unauthorized disclosure. Protect your device, keep software current, use strong access credentials, and maintain appropriate backups. Local processing does not by itself establish compliance with a regulatory framework.

Norivault Mobile is intended for adults managing veteran or service-member information and is not directed to children. It is independent self-help and educational software. It is not VA, a law firm, a medical provider, or a VA-accredited representative. It does not submit claims, provide legal or medical advice, predict approval or ratings, or guarantee an outcome. VA alone makes official benefit and disability-rating determinations.

10. Changes and contact

Meritwright will update this notice when relevant practices change and identify the revision through the date above. The Apple edition, final store disclosures, and released platform behavior will be reviewed before launch. If a material change affects released users, Meritwright will provide notice as required by applicable law or store policy.
